* Please note: We have randomly selected our winner of the £20 gift voucher but please still feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments here!

A new year means a new beginning and we've got lots of exciting new stuff lined up for 2017!  As well as loads more gorgeous fabric we're planning lots of new products, kits, classes and clubs so we can bring you a whole host of awesomeness this year!

We asked some of our regular customers what they'd like to see from us this year and one of the top asks was for us to have a loyalty scheme that worked both in our shop as well as online.  Well, we've done that with Make Club but what else do you want to see at Fabric HQ in the coming year?  We can't promise we'll be able to do everything but if you want it, we'll try our best to make it happen!

Just add your contribution in the comments section below by Sunday 8th January and we'll choose someone at random to receive a £20 gift voucher to spend online with us or in our shop in Stoke Mandeville.

Happy new year everyone!

Thank you all so much for your comments and congratulations to Willow – you won our £20 gift voucher – we’ve emailed you the code! We’ll do our very best to take on board all of your comments and let’s hope 2017 is the best year yet for sewing! Thanks everyone!

I would really love to do a tuffet (or similar sort of thing) workshop. I would also like to do some good old fashioned embroidery as no one seems to teach it any more :)

  • Isabel A.

I would love to see more knit fabrics.

Wow, what a lot of creative ideas! As a relatively new quilter, I’d like to learn more about machine free motion quilting, quilt as you go and how to join the blocks. Really up for learning anything about Patchwork and Quilting, I’ve enjoyed and learned from the basic classes but now feel ready for the next steps.

More dressmaking classes please, the basic wardrobe items are always good – skirt, blouse etc. I love your fabrics- perhaps a project from each designer per term? I think a loyalty scheme is brilliant. Other ideas- maker of the month? Could customers share what they have made?

Agree mini quilts would be great and also embroidery and like the idea that was sugggested for sashiko

  • Janice Petty

Some great ideas I would also like more choice with 108" backing fabric. I would like to see some more classes on dressmaking.

I’d love to see a class on mini quilts. As much as I love quilting there’s only so many you can do! I also really love the idea of a subscription box but most of them deal with more traditional fabrics. I’d love to see one with more modern fabrics from Dashwood etc xx
